While Team Ninja released "Dead or Alive 5" PC edition, a few gamers were dissatisfied with the missing key components in the game. Add to that, a few modders had started making nude mods for the PC edition.
The PC edition for "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" was released on Monday and a few gamers noticed some key components missing in the game. A few missing key components that were reported missing were the online component that would only be available in another three months; gamers would not be able to see their achievements; the PC edition would not support Steam Cloud; there would be no rumble support for gamepads; the graphic quality of the in-game visual effects were the same as that of the PS3 edition; and The Danger Zone and The Crimson stages were not included in the PC edition.
Meanwhile, a group of modders were able to crack to code to modifying "DOA 5 Last Round" characters and came up with naughty renditions of the game's femme fatales. One of the characters that received their topless mods was Momiji, created by Lustful Illumination. Lustful Illumination even noted on their website that the topless mod would work with the mummy costume of Momiji.
With this, Team Ninja warned modders to keep their dirty thoughts to themselves and leave the female characters alone. They added that if modders would not restrain themselves, Team Ninja would likely stop making PC Editions of "Dead or Alive."
This warning was, however, viewed as ironic since Team Ninja had been criticized earlier for creating their characters a bit too sexy dressed and possessing unnatural assets. This on the other hand was defended by Team Ninja as their way to highlight their characters' confidence and abilities, whether they were male or female, based on a report from Lazy Gamer.
"Dead or Alive" Last Round was released on February 17th in North America.
