The release of the Microsoft exclusive "Quantum Break" for Xbox One would be delayed and moved to 2016. The creators of Max Payne and Alan Wake said that the delay on the time bender-shooter's release would give the developers enough time to make necessary tweaks in the video game.
Remedy Entertainment creative director Sam Lake said that the delay on "Quantum Break's release would enable them "polish and fine tune the game." He added that this would also allow them "to create the kind of standout entertainment experience" avid gamers had been anticipating from them, based on a report from Games Radar.
Meanwhile, Microsoft head of publishing Shannon Loftis expressed confidence in their remaining line-up of games for 2015. Loftis added that they had assembled the "strongest games lineup in Xbox history;" Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Fable Legends and Forza Motorsport 6 to name a few would be announced for release in the following months to come. She added that "with so many games launching this year, moving Quantum Break to 2016 extends our incredible portfolio into next year with a monster new IP," based on a report from Gamespot. Apart from that, Microsoft might announcement more games in this year's line-up in E3 2015.
Add to that, the development of "Quantum Break's" live-action TV show was also moved to a later date after Xbox Entertainment Studios closed last year. On the other hand, Remedy Entertainment's Sam Lake thanked that fans for understanding the necessity of moving the game's release date.
Lake said that, "We thank our fans for their patience, and want them to know that the team is taking advantage of this opportunity to polish and fine tune the game to create the kind of standout entertainment experience they've come to expect from us."
Remedy Entertainment's Quantum Break would be a third-person shooter action game to be released exclusively for the Xbox One. The main protagonist would also have the ability to move through time and space.
