Robert Downey Jr. has contracted a settlement for upcoming Avengers movies but it sure is a sad thing that he might not be back in Iron Man 4 might following the two-part Avengers Infinity War release. This might be the last time fans are going to see the robotic superhero.
Meanwhile, there have been rumours saying that Arno Stark will be in Tony Stark's chair if the Iron Man 4 production begins thinking Downey is contractually bound to do Avengers 3: Infinity War. Such as it is, new spoilers reports have revealed that Downey Jr. might just not be getting through the fourth Iron Man installment.
'The Superhero Show' hosts Daniel Krupa and Chris Tilly talked about the possibility of a new Iron Man sequel after Tilly mentioned his latest interview with 'Iron Man 3' behind-er, Drew Pearce. The screenwriter did not seem very sure about a new sequel because it is possible that Downey Jr. is not just up for it. They might just as well kill Iron man for anything other than being in the Avengers.
However, the studio might decide to use Robert Downey Jr.'s upcoming performances in Age Of Ultron and Civil War to give the character explosive farewell. They could then give the character a rest for a few years, which would help to solidify his iconic status before reprising him for Iron Man 4.
Feige even added, 'I have said it before and it was not negotiating tactics. I believe Tony Stark is just as strong a character as batman. So there will absolutely be future Iron Mans and future Tony Starks. Who makes the movies, when those films are made, who knows? I do not know.
But, the notion with Downey's contract in The Avengers 2 and 3 is to allow new characters, Part of what we like about The Avengers is the shifting roster. That is what's fun about comic book films. You shift them up. Certainly, a lot of thought process went to it.'
Iron Man 4 is rumored to be released by 2019 while two-part Avengers Infinity War film will be shown in 208, and 2019 respectively.
