With HBO's "Game of Thrones" catching up with George RR Martin's books, many fans are led to believe that some of the scenes in the latest episode of GOT are already spoilers for "The Winds of Winter." "Game of Thrones" is already surpassing George RR Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" and some fans began to pierce through some of the scenes from the show's latest episode and compared which ones could be in "The Winds of Winter."
According to HitFix, the scene wherein Jamie will be traveling to Dorne could be a spoiler for "The Winds of Winter." The outlet noted that whatever may happen once Jamie reaches Dorne may reveal parts of the unpublished book.
"Instead of heading South to rescue his daughter, Jamie heads to the Riverlands to end the siege of Riverrun, route the Blackfish and rescue Edmure Tully from ineffective threats against the Lord of Riverrun's life by the Frays," the outlet cited.
Aside from this scene, there was also that moment wherein the "Sons of the Harpy" is murdered, which could be one of the biggest spoilers for "The Winds of Winter," as the "Sons of the Harpy" are still alive in Martin's books. According to the outlet, when Daenerys executes someone without realizing its political consequences and may eventually lead to her downfall.
iDigital Times also cited a spoiler that Griff and Young Griff will not be shown in "Game of Thrones" season 5. According to the outlet, Young Griff is an important character because he is the rightful son and heir of Rhaegar, Aegon Targaryen, who has the best claim to the Seven Kingdoms. Young Griff was said to have been switched at birth by Varys and transported out of Westeros. Young Griff could also be the "mummer's dragon" that Daenerys should beware of, as prophesized by the Quaithe of Asshai.
