By

Designer Miroslav Vitula recently released a concept about the Android Lollipop successor. He called it as Android 6.0 Muffin. The video shows new features such as quick reply and multi-tasking. So far, it received good reviews.

Google commonly uses sweet names to associate with their Android operating systems. The company released Alpha, Beta, Cupcake, Donut, Éclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, Kitkat, and the current Lollipop. Recently, a concept video of an Android Lollipop successor surfaced around the net, being called as Android 6.0 Muffin, which was designed by Miroslav Vitula.

Miroslav Vitula's concept showed an Android 6.0 Muffin coming out with new features such as new opening and closing apps animations, a Mult-Window that is meant to help with multitasking, and Quick Reply that lets users answer new notifications directly from a notification showing in the status bar.

It was noted that the designer reportedly used Google's Material design "lavishly."

As far as the review of the concept is concerned, Ubergizmo said that they like the concept that the designer did, Android Headlines said that they would be happy to see Android Muffin look like it, International Business Times describes it as "the killer," Techno Buffalo digs it, Frandroid find it "interesting," Phonandroid said "Ingenious and we would be curious to try it for real," and CURVED sees it as "an exciting idea,"

Moving on to YouTube comments, the viewers said:

"It really is mostly cool new animations(which I love), but I really hope multiwindow is in 6.0. It at least needs to be on all phones with a screen 5in+" -Gabe Tinge

"That quick reply would be great! And the multi window. Especially for the nexus 6." -Bradon Ramirez

"Someone should make this a set of features available for root users available for Android 4.x and later" -MixEco System

"Android 6.0 is going to be amazing." -Nikke Koivisto

"Loved it! I really hope Google will use these features they're awesome!" -refael1997

"Oh this is good!" -Taylor Gilmore

What most of the people liked about the concept are the quick reply, and the multi-tasking. However, there is still no clear name of the Android 6.0 M. Some have said that it is called Milkshake. Nevertheless, Google has yet to make an official statement about the Android Lollipop successor.

How do you find the concept? What are other features you want to have it included?
