Warner Bros. and DC Comics have locked the dates for the train of standalone DC characters movies and the most-awaited "Justice League" film. With the recent release of the trailer of "Batman v Superman : Dawn of Justice", fans are now curious on how will Aquaman be introduced into this movie. With the trailer containing only the possible battle for power of DC's two mightiest and legendary heroes, it leaves little ideas on how will the other heroes be integrated in the story.
Jason Momoa, popularly known for his character Khal Drogo in HBO's original series Game of Thrones, is set to bring the King of Atlantis' character into the big screen. When asked on whether he'll be having a big role on the "Batman v Superman" movie, the actor said, "It's a Batman and Superman movie, it is not my movie."
With Momoa's strong physique and vicious look in the teaser picture that Zack Snyder released, Warner and DC are pulling Aquaman's character out from the water and into the clear plain sight, which may veer away from the traditional Aquaman in the comics.
"There's a lot of surprises coming. I think, yeah, he's been cast aside. But, times are going to change now, buddy." The actor shared.
"What's great about this is Zack, man. We don't want to just reinvent it, but he's a got a whole idea of what Aquaman should be and I'm really honored to be playing it. I'm excited for the world to see it." Momoa added.
The Game of Thrones alumni also added that the movie has to be "realistic". "There's a lot of stuff in the comics that won't work on the screen."
