As gamers await for the release of the video game adaptation of "Mad Max" this Sept. 1st, the franchise's fans were treated to a load of screens featuring the hot post-apocalyptic cars that could be seen on the movie and possibly in the game, as well. Apart from that, the game developer had revealed that they were now at the final phase of development for the game.

First off, gamers could visit the PlayStation YouTube channel and check the "Mad Max - Gameplay Overview Trailer" for PS4. The graphic quality of the overview trailer for "Mad Max" was stunning as it featured the terrain, the people and most especially the cars that the gamers would encounter or interact with in the upcoming game.

Gamers would take charge as the protagonist in the game; "Mad" Max Rockatansky, "a lone warrior who embarks on a dangerous journey after his Interceptor is stolen by a deadly gang of marauders lead by the warlord, Scabrous Scrotus. A reluctant hero with an instinct for survival, Max wants nothing more than to leave the madness behind and find solace in the storied 'Plains of Silence,'" based on the game's overview page in the PlayStation website.

As the game developers move closer to the game's launch date, newer developments had been shared about the anticipated game. Avalanche Studios Senior Producer John Fuller revealed in a recent entry that they would now be in the final phase of development. He added that "we are continuing to push the fidelity of The Wasteland and squeeze as much content and immersion out of the PlayStation 4 hardware as possible. True to the Avalanche Studios promise, we are cramming in content, both above and below ground level, to ensure that there are surprises around many corners. Apart from very desolate and barren landscapes, the prevalence of indoor locations is something quite new. You may have to look hard for many of them, but they're worth it if you persevere!"

Meanwhile, gamers could also first check out the movie "Mad Max: Fury Road" set for release on May 15th while waiting for the launch of the "Mad Max" video game this fall. With that, fans of the "Mad Max" franchise were also treated to a set of photos on the hot cars that would be used in the movie.

After the movie, gamers would be expecting the game starting Sept. 1st in North America, Sept. 2nd in Australia and Sept. 4th in the EU. The game would be available in PS4, Xbox One and the PC.
