Destiny's developers are probably big fans of the Winter's Run or else there's no logical explanation for why the same Nightfall from two weeks ago is the same one available for this week.
That means that between the two Winter's Run Nightfalls is only a one week reprieve featuring Will of Crota last week. For players who may be a bit unfamiliar with Winter's Run, it takes players on a mission that leads them all the way to Venus, the place where they will engage an Archeon Priest in what should be a highly challenging battle, according to Playstation Universe.
Triple Burn will also be active in the Destiny universe this week, meaning yet again that Arc, Solar, and Void sources of damage will be even more harmful. This is not a one-sided effect either as players can also suffer greatly from the increased levels of damage enemies may inflicty if their attacks are of that nature, according to Gaming Bolt. The Epic modifier is also active for this week.
For this week's Heroic Strike, the Void Burn modifier is the one available to players, leading yet again to more damaging and potentially more punishing Guardians roaming all over the place. In related news, the House of Wolves expansion for Destiny will also be adding a new gameplay mode known as Prison of Elders, according to Polygon.
The new addition is expected to be a three-player horde-style co-op mode that should pique a lot of players' interests. Bungie, the game's developers, has already released a new teaser for Prison of Elders, but it doesn't reveal all that much about the new gameplay mode. Bungie is expected to reveal more about Prison of Elders in the coming days.
The much-awaited House of Wolves expansion for Destiny will finally be released on May 19 for the Playstation 3 and 4, and Xbox 360 and One.
