'Boruto: Naruto The Movie' Update: US fall release, manga spinoff miniseries US debut confirmed? Netflix starts running 'Naruto' via Live Streaming

By

US fan-based of the popular manga series "Naruto" have something big to look forward to before the year ends. "Boruto: Naruto The Movie" US release is set in fall, a few months after its August movie premier in Japan. While waiting for that, fans can make use of Naruto spinoff miniseries debut or relive Naruto's journey on Netflix live streaming.

Indeed if there's one credible source that fans can check out for the upcoming generation of ninjas, it is through Masashi Kishimoto's latest manga creation, "Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring." This limited only manga spinoff series is included in Viz Media's digital weekly as well as of North American's edition of Shonen Jump. It focuses on Naruto's family, especially his brat son Boruto, after he became the seventh Hokage and builds a family. New characters will also be introduced to establish the new era milieu of the movie spinoff.

On the protagonist side are Sasuke, who is revealed in the "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" trailer as the lead character's mentor, and Naruto, whom Boruto will be acquiring his fighting spirit from. Orochimaru, on the other hand, will be playing the role of the ultimate villain in this Naruto movie spinoff. In order to make it to the new era, his body is said to resurrect in another body and carry on with his obsession. Could Orochimaru use Mitsuki's as vessel for his resurrected spirit? As mysterious as his character sounds, add to it his resemblance with another old character that happens to be on the side of Boruto's father, that could be an interesting twist in the story.

Or Mitsuki could be in a love triangle with Boruto and Sarada, even if the trailer hinted which side Sarada is on. But even if Naruto's son and Sasuke's daughter are rivals, a caring affection can still blossom between them. Rivals do fall in love with one another, after all. This hint at rivalry thing could also mean that it is in Sasuke's body that Orichimaru's spirit will inhabit. If that's theory works, the ultimate villain would be living by the creed keep your enemy closer.

"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" US release is set on October or November. CrossMap is quite certain about that and who could disagree considering that a beloved manga series is concerned? That's not to mention that previous Naruto movies were also shown in the US.

While waiting for "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" US release, fans can relive the journey of Naruto on Netflix. Starting this week 156 of the 220 episodes can be watched through the online streaming provider, and true to its promise, 15 episodes of the "Naruto" series have been running since May 1. Both English and Japanese versions are available.
