As "Project CARS" was released on May 08th, several reviews were written that highlighted the games undeniable beauty. Apart from that, a new video was uploaded on YouTube featuring the game in 4K.
The latest "Project CARS" video that featured the game in 4K was uploaded in the Games Under Pressure YouTube channel. The 3-minute video showed how the game's PC edition would look like on maxed settings and running smoothly in 4K.
Meanwhile, another review called "Project CARS" as the "the game thoroughbred racers have been crying out for is here - and it was worth the wait," based on the review from Independent UK. The review also said that the game's graphic quality was incomparable to any game in the market. The review added that "the level of detail given to the conditions during races is nothing short of sublime.
Race through the night with the surrounding environment illuminated only by the headlights circulating the track, or cope with the changing light levels as the sun either sets or rises. The extreme weather conditions are incredibly challenging too, as the rain has a significant impact on car handling and control as well as the look of the landscape around the car."
Add to that, another review article highlighted the game's online feature, which would be the focus of "Project CARS" in the future, based on a review from Metro UK. The review added that "since it's a community led game the online is inevitably going to be the focus of the game in the future, and in that sense the rather simplistic career mode is less of an issue. There are some technical problems though, most obviously copious amounts of screen tearing and some barely functional menus, but it's nothing that can't be excused (or more likely fixed in a patch)."
As was mentioned, "Project CARS" came out with a few dismissible issues at the moment. Nonetheless, the strengths of the game out weighted its weaknesses and that made "Project CARS" the latest darling of the gaming community.
