With only two more episodes remaining, a lot of 'The Flash' fans are surely waiting for what the highly beloved comic book superhero television series has to offer for its final serving for the first season. The good news is, it looks like fans can expect an explosive and entertaining season 1 ender, with the scarlet speedster receiving help from two familiar faces.
According to a report published by Christianity Today, Barry Allen/The Flash's final showdown with Harrison Wells/Reverse Flash (who was previously unmasked as Eobard Thawne) is going to be a tough one, and he will get help from both The Arrow and Firestorm. The confrontation between the two speedsters has been one of the most prevalent storylines in the series, as it was because of the fight between Reverse Flash and the future version of The Flash that Nora Allen died and Henry Allen was put into prison.
A lot of questions were raised regarding the death of Nora Allen, an event which changed Barry's life. Although Thawne denied that it was his intention for Barry' mom to die, the fact that he still murdered Nora makes it a very interesting mystery to solve. According an interview made with executive producer Andrew Kreisberg by TVLine, the finale episode wil deal with the mystery surrounding Nora Allen's death, along with many others that have been building all throughout season 1.
Speaking of mysteries, another possible issue that may be tackled in The Flash finale will be the transformation of Cisco Ramone into Vibe. In the comics, Vibe has the ability to jump into different dimensions - sort of what Cisco did in earlier episodes when he saw his "other" self die in the hands of Reverse Flash.
The sypnosis for the finale episode, titled "Fast Enough," reads as follows:
"Wells (Tom Cavanagh) presents Barry (Grant Gustin) with a life-changing choice. Dr. Martin Stein (guest star Victor Garber) and Ronnie Raymond (guest star Robbie Amell) return to help the S.T.A.R. Labs team with this final fight."
