The Witcher 3 includes secret encoded message thanking fans for their support of the game

With The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt almost set to arrive at video game stores all over the world, the team at CD Projekt Red took some time out to thank the fans who have been highly supportive of their latest endeavor. The message is somewhat easy to miss however, as the team decided to include in the recently released trailer for the game.

If someone just casually watching the trailer didn't know any better, it's likely they would have glossed over the entire message. The hidden text appears near the end of the trailer, according to Overmental.

The message itself is straightforward, but certainly seems heartfelt. In it, CD Projekt Red thanks fans for following the game's progress for the three years it took to make.

They also talk about the growth of company that became necessary to complete this latest installment of the franchise, according Game Center Online. It was a lighthearted yet genuine show of gratitude from CD Projekt Red to its fans, which is probably rarer than it should be within the gaming industry.

As for the other parts of the trailer, CD Projekt Red certainly delivered on the action. It begins with Geralt being lulled into a false sense of security before an emerging monster makes him fend for his life, and continues with separate scenes of Geralt using his skills and knowledge to navigate through the many battles.

It's a violent mix of action and fantasy that has in part become the trademark of the franchise. Also shown in the trailer is the other playable character included in the game, Ciri. She appears just as adept with the blade as Geralt as she hacks away at her foes, according to iDigital Times.

It also appears as though another trailer is coming from CD Projekt Red soon, though the exact date is unknown. The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt will be officially released on May 19.
