Playstation UK's Fergal Gara Offers His Thoughts on Recently and Soon to be Released Games for PS4

By

Playstation UK's Fergal Gara recently commented on some of the big-name games currently and soon to be available for the Playstation 4.

Though Gara's thoughts about the games on the Playstation 4 may not exactly be representative of the company's thoughts as a whole, it's still interesting to see what an insider thinks about the current happenings concerning the console.

In his interview with MCV, Gara specifically talked the surprising success of Bloodborne. He says that while the company already had high hopes for the game to begin with, even they could not have dreamt up just how much of a hit it has ultimately become.

Gara said internal projections were already looking overwhelmingly ambitious to start, but by the time Bloodborne caught its full head of steam, it turns out that even those lofty projections were still somewhat conservative. Another game that Gara specifically talked about is the highly-anticipated, and almost equally ambitious No Man's Sky.

Interestingly, Gara revealed that the people at the company are treating the game as if it were their own, and putting a lot of resources behind its development, according to Playstation Lifestyle.

No Man's Sky is an indie game, but if Playstation truly is getting behind this title, then the sky may truly be the limit. Gara also touched on potential issues the Playstation 4 may face during the holiday season when many big name games are coming out for the Xbox One.

He said the company is not concerned with what the competitor's offerings may be, and claims that gamers already have a lot to look forward to for the Playstation 4, according Videogamer.

Some major titles such as Uncharted 4 being delayed have definitely hurt the console in terms of its ability to generate even more sales, but the company can easily remedy that with the announcement of new titles at E3.
