"Captain America: Civil War" Update: First Look At Crossbones Costume Revealed In New Promotional Photos

By

"Captain America: Civil War" recently shot one of the major fight sequences for the film and photos showing Captain America and Crossbones wearing their costumes made its rounds on the internet. Chris Evans as Captain America and Frank Grillo as Crossbones were punching and kicking each other in the photos released.

According to reports, the scene for "Captain America: Civil War" was shot in an Atlanta set. In the photos released, it seemed that Crossbones had the upper hand as Captain America was photographed being badly beaten up. Crossbones was introduced in the film "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and his violent role is to reprise in the third installment of the hit flick.

Crossbones was seen wearing heavy armor with the whit "X" on his chest and was also seen sporting a field mask. He also wore gauntlets but it remains to be unknown how these will help him in his battles with Captain America. In the former film, Crossbones was seen with a burned body inside a hospital and it seems that his comeback for the third installment will be focusing more on his revenge. It is not yet clear if there will be scenes in "Captain America: Civil War" where he won't be wearing his mask exposing his burnt face.

"Captain America: Civil War" was based on the 2007 comic book mini-series where Captain America opposed his co-Avengers member Iron Man.

The third installment of the film was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and the screenplay was by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Other heroes to make it to the film are Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, the Scarlet Witch and many more.

The filming for "Captain America: Civil War" is not yet finished and is still underway before the May 6, 2016 premiere of the film in cinemas and theatres worldwide.
