This season's chosen Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe, is already in slight trouble with her suitors just days after she beat Britt Nilsson for the show's 11th season. Aside from the troubles with the boys, Bristowe is also under fire for talking about sex in the show. However, she remains proud about it as she thinks that's a normal thing that people do.
"The Bachelorette season 11" had just started but already sparked controversies in television and social media. Aside from kick starting the season with two women vying to become the new "The Bachelorette," Kaitlyn Bristowe, the new star of the show, is already in trouble for being physical with one of her suitors.
In the preview of the show, Bristowe is seen kissing all the men and having quality time with each of them. However, one of them went too fast and slept with "The Bachelorette" after spending the day with her. To the surprise of the show's production, Bristowe accidentally left her microphone on while she and her suitor do the deed.
At one point in the preview, the male contestant was seen running naked outside Bristowe's room in an attempt to escape from the cameras.
Kaitlyn is not particularly proud of what has transpired between her and the contestant and even blames herself for what happened. She was caught confessing her act to her other suitors, who naturally did not accepted it as calmly as they could and one man even shed some tears.
However, one thing that the new bachelorette is proud of is being vocal about her sex in the show. In an interview, Kaitlyn Bristowe said that she doesn't understand why she is under fire for talking about it in the show when sex is a very normal thing.
"I don't think that's a crazy thing to sleep with somebody when you're trying to be in a relationship with them," said the season 11 star."I'm a 30-year-old woman and I make my own decisions, and intimacy, to me, is part of a relationship. I don't know why everyone is so shocked by it."
Even former contestant Erica Rose agrees to Kaitlyn's statement and said that when she was in the show, no one has ever talked about sex. It's a good thing, according to her, that the show is more open about it now.
"The Bachelorette" season 11 will surely be one exciting season with the controversies linking the show's current star, Kaitlyn Bristowe. Her relationship with the contestant she slept with is really something to watch out for and her bold opinions on some topics that the show doesn't frequently tackle.
