Amazon mistakenly leaks details of Microsoft 1TB Xbox One: June 15 launching at $400; 3.5mm jack for rumored controller?

A certain Reddit user, readerofthetruth, was able to spot Amazon recently listing the Microsoft 1TB Xbox One on its website, with its launch date to be on June 15, 2015.

It was also revealed that the machine will include a controller with a 3.5 mm headset jack, allowing users to plug in any compatible headset.

Further, the Microsoft 1TB Xbox One will offer "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" for just $400.

"upvoting for visibility. MCC is confirmed bundled under product description if you scroll down. Now includes a 1TB hard drive for storing games and media, a controller with a 3.5mm headset jack, and Halo: The Master Chief Collection. For $400? Great deal!" commented Reddit user notalakeitsanocean.

However, when Venture Capital Post followed the provided link, it appeared that Amazon realized about the "mistake" and removed the entire page.

Others managed to get some information before Amazon deleted the link completely.

"While both the price and the launch date have been removed from the listing, it is still live as of this writing with this description: The only one where you can play Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Forza Motorsport 6 this year; Experience the most advanced multiplayer on Xbox Live; Quickly switch back-and-forth between games, live TV, and apps; Store games and media with a 1TB internal hard drive; Includes a controller with a 3.5mm headset jack, so you can plug in any compatible headset," reported Windows Central.

One of the anticipated features that the Microsoft 1 TB Xbox One is expected to include is its rumored controller. Others previously pointed out that the company reportedly mentioned a 3.5mm headphone port at the base of the pad and it would only be available on controllers rolled out after June 2015.

However, what the pad will offer is unknown. Nevertheless, fans are requesting that it would be enabled to charge through USB.

"One frequent request from Xbox One owners is for a controller that can be charged via USB cable straight out of the box, rather than via a Play and Charge kit (sold separately). But the fact that the design is otherwise identical suggests that the overall form factor of the controller will remain intact," said Eurogamer.net

Microsoft is expected to have their E3 press conference on June 16-18, 2015.
