"The Great Movie Ride" located in Disney World at the Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida, had some updates and it includes a different ending for the attraction. The ride was opened back in 1989 and it has been updated just now.
"The Great Movie Ride" has a lot of popular movies produced by Disney and those who will ride it will be taken down memory lane. Most of the movies that are featured inside the ride are classics and are very old that it is dominated by films that were produced during the late '90s. However, it has been reported by Slash Film that Turner Classic Movies already updated the ride and they have added the new films that have been a hit from Disney.
In a video uploaded on YouTube, "The Great Movie Ride" had a new three-minute finale montage towards the end of the ride.
According to a report by Inside The Magic, the new flick has added clips from the recent "Guardians of the Galaxy," "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," the hit movie "Frozen," "Tangled" and so much more. The classics are still there such as clips form the movies of Robin Williams.
Aside from that, the ride's marquee in the loading area has also been changed from "Journey into the Movies" to "The Ultimate Celebration of Classic Movies." A new attraction from the ride also includes an area where fans could take a photo opportunity with the classic hand prints that celebrities make in Hollywood.
There are around 50 scenes from different movies produced by Disney and it includes flicks such as "Alien," "Casablanca," "Fantasia," "Mary Poppins," "Raiders of the Lost Ark," "Singin' In The Rain," "Tarzan The Ape Man," "The Public Enemy" and "The Wizard of Oz."
"The Great Movie Ride" has tour guides that people will follow when they visit the attraction.
