The newest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump has unveiled Boruto Naruto The Movie character designs for Naruto and Sasuke, fathers to the movie's lead characters, Boruto and Sarada, which are similar to the new Naruto Manga, Naruto Gaiden: The 7th Hokage.
This latest news surfaced online relating to the release of the spinoff movie, Boruto Naruto the movie where it appears that the movie adapts latest manga, Such designs seem to be based from Naruto Gaiden: Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring telling the story of Naruto who now becomes the Seventh Hokage while Sasuke is sent on a secret mission to protect the ninja world.
The said magazine further revealed two locations in Konoha Village that will be featured in the upcoming anime film namely, a convenience store and a hamburger shop, Design and Trend reports.
Moreover, an information was leaked via Naruto Reddit that Masashi Kishimoto will be announcing more details on July 29 relating to the release of Boruto: Naruto the Movie and some say it has to do with the storyline revolving Boruto, Sarada and the other Konoha shinobis.
According to Vine Report, the movie will be follow the story of Naruto Uzumaki known as the 7th Hokage who is now a father to his two children, Boruto and Himawari. The spinoff, however, focuses on his son, Boruto (also called Bolt) being the lead character.
Also, Weekly Shonen Jump released earlier the English translated plot synopsis for Boruto: Naruto The Movie which reads:
"Boruto is the son of the 7th Hokage Naruto who completely rejects his father. Behind this, he has feelings of wanting to surpass Naruto, who is respected as a hero. He ends up meeting his father's friends Sasuke, and requests to become his... apprentice?! The curtain on the story of the new generation written by Masashi Kishimoto rises!"
The reported scan bears the word, 'Borutage', meaning voltage in English language which hint fans that Boruto would be using Chidori.
The official release date of Boruto: Naruto The Movie official is confirmed in Japan on August 7 and anticipated to be streamed in North America later this year. It is worth noting that tickets will go on sale on June 27.
