"Outlander" recently wrapped up Season 1 in the episode titled, "To Ransom A Man's Soul." While several details have already been announced, including new cast members to join Season 2 of the Starz time traveler series, fans are anticipating for more juicy hints and teases, as Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe head to the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con.

"Outlander" Season 2 will be covering Diana Gabaldon's second book, "Dragonfly in Amber." While most book fans are already aware of the events that will take place in Gabaldon's book number two, most of them are still anticipating for the adaptation of the book series on TV.
"Outlander" Season 2 will follow the events of Season 1, which left Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) emotionally, physically and mentally scathed by Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies). Jamie, together with Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe) will travel to France in an attempt to stop the Battle of Culloden from taking place.
Aside from a completely different setting in "Outlander" Season 2, the former stars will be joined by new members including Jamie's former lover Annalise de Marillac, Zap2It reported.
Annalise will be played by Margaux Chatelier and is set to appear in the Starz series, as Jamie and Claire set foot in Paris. Chatelier will be joined by new cast members, Marc Duret (Joseph Duverney), Dominique Pinon (healer Master Raymond), Robert Cavanah (Jared Fraser), Stanley Weber (Le Comte St. Germain), Andrew Gower (Bonnie Prince Charlie) and Rosie Day (Mary Hawkins).
Meanwhile, the stars of "Outlander" are headed to the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con International, wherein showrunner Ron Moore and author Diana Gabaldon will be also making an appearance, IB Times reported.
Moore, together with Gabaldon, Heughan and Balfe will be having apresentation on July 11 at 4 p.m. The cast may be answering several questions from fans, including tidbits of what lies ahead for "Outlander" Season 2.
"Outlander" Season 2 is expected to premiere in 2016.
