The cast and crew of the Starz time traveler series, "Outlander" has already begun filming for Season 2 after wrapping up Season 1 in an episode titled, "To Ransom A Man's Soul." The upcoming season will cover Diana Gabaldon's second book, "Dragonfly in Amber," which introduces several characters including Brianna and Roger. Which actor and actress will play the respective roles?

"Outlander" Season 2 has recently seen the addition of new cast members including Robert Cavanah as Jared Fraser, Stanley Weber as Le Comte St. Germain and Audrey Brisson as Sister Angelique. The upcoming season will also introduce two of the fan-favorite characters from Diana Gabaldon's second book, "Dragonfly in Amber" - Brianna and Roger.

Showrunner Ron Moore and the rest of the cast and crew of "Outlander" have kept mum on details of the actor and actress to play these roles. Moore, however, revealed to Zap2It that he will not yet reveal who will play these roles and when he will announce the new cast members to join Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe and Tobias Menzies in Season 2.

"I don't think I'm ready to give that away yet," Moore told the outlet.

Moore also shared exciting details for "Outlander" Season 2, including the return of Lotte Verbeek as Geillis Duncan. The outlet cited several actors and actresses who would best fit the role of Brianna and Roger in the upcoming season. "Doctor Who" actress Karen Gillan and "Downton Abbey" star Rose Leslie are fan favorite actresses to play the role of Brianna. "Game of Thrones" star Richard Madden and "Galavant" star Joshua Sasse have been named as actors who would best fit the role of Roger.

Meanwhile, Moore also shared that he has no idea when "Outlander" Season 2 will premiere on TV. There have been several speculations that the Season 2 premiere will coincide with the 270^th anniversary of the Battle of Culloden, which takes place on April 16, 2016.

"I wouldn't be surprised if Starz is way ahead of me. It has intricate plans, but I haven't thought about it at all," Moore said.
