American viewers of Rookie Blue could now stop being jealous with the Canadian viewers, ABC's Rookie Blue Season 6 will hit their televisions this week!
According to a report, Rookie Blue Season 6 will premiere in the United States on June 25. Although, it already premiered first in Canada last May 21.
Canada is now 6 episodes advance from the American viewers and 5 episodes away for the season to end again. But the question now is, will Rookie Blue be renewed for a seventh season?
According to reports, season 6 might be the last season for Rookie Blue. It has been revealed that ABC is still discussing the future of Rookie Blue, which as of now, there's still no progress.
Shaw Media's senior vice president Christon Shipton is doing her best for the show to be renewed for another season. Shipton wants Rookie Blue to have its seven season since only a few Canadian shows have made it to making seven seasons.
"I would be so proud if we could take a hit Canadian show to seven seasons. It's a pretty small list of shows that reached that seven season mark. So it's not official but we're working on it," she said.
But the long waiting seems a sign of doubt for the renewal. Rookie Blue must step up its rating for season 6 for it to be surely renewed for another season!
