Riot Games recently released the League of Legends 5.12 Patch with the hopes of bringing back the AP junglers, in the quest for diversity or as they put it as player's choice, which is reflected in the new Runeglaive jungle enchantment. A new champion to join League of Legends is revealed while current champions get nerfed while others get visual updates.
League of Legends 5.12 Patch is now available, which emphasizes on the new Runeglaive jungle enchantment- an item that would 'unlock' many AP junglers. The development team makes sure that viability choice leads to personal preference compared to straight up power.
In addition, patch 5.12 includes Defensive Mastery Tree changes, which will provide more choices for the player and would guide him in making decisions that goes with his own style through the game.
"Up front, we wanted to give more rewards for investing deeply into defensive masteries. That said, we know that introducing too much disruption via the mastery system in the middle of a season is probably the not the best for anyone, but we felt we could make iterative improvements where we can."
According to iDigital Times, League of Legends Update 5.12 has finally revealed the newest champion to join the League of Legends roster, Tahm Kench also known as the River King is an elegantly-dressed monstrous catfish whose specialty is isolating opposing heroes. Tahm Kench is not the usual support character in LoL instead he overlaps between being a supporter and a fighter. The Abyssal Voyage is the ultimate ability of the River King, which lets him swallow an ally and dive to another spot on the map.
In addition, the League of Legends Visual Effects developer updated some champions on the ability visual effects such as Brand, Corki, Galio and Nautilus. Some characters are getting nerfed which includes Gargas Elise, fomer Queen-of-the-Jungle and Ryze.
Lastly 5.12 patch of League of Legends also contains a new Pool Party skin pack and a new Chroma pack where both will re-imagine champions with the variations of skin color.
