A lot of iPhone 6s news have been emerging online in the recent weeks. Features, specs and release date are being talked about on the rumored successor to iPhone6 and iPhone6 Plus.
More or less, the upcoming flagship Apple device will be released in September, according to Venture Beat. Sources suggest that most likely, Foxconn, the company in-charge of assembling its parts, will schedule its production and assembly in August. This means that its announcement will happen anytime in September.
9to5Mac reports a detailed description of what supposed to be one of the most intriguing iPhone 6s news to date. The site claimed that an iPhone6s board has been detected. They discussed the specs and features, and what really is inside of the next iPhone's logic board.
"Along with a slight shrinkage in size of the iPhone 6S's logic board, Apple also appears to be aggressively reducing the number of chips it's using. One section of the board that previously had in excess of 10 components has been pared down to 3 main chips, simultaneously cutting the number of parts and increasing the power efficiency of the ones that remain," 9to5Mac wrote.
Apple users could expect certain upgrades that were not seen in the previous iPhones. It will likely sport a new camera, a new Qualcomm LTE chip and Force Touch.
Rumors claim that the new generation smartphone will have upgraded NFC hardware capabilities that take away the need for extra chip. The chip is designed to make Apple Pay faster and safer, Bidness Etc reports.
9to5Mac also revealed that the leaked logic board for iPhone 6S seems to be smaller to make it more efficient. Apparently, Apple used a diverse manufacturing procedure for its flash memory and CPU to save a lot of battery life and to make the device faster.
Although this could be iPhone 6s good news, Apple fans won't rejoice with the device's 16GB of storage. This could be a major issue especially people are looking for smartphones that are easily upgradeable. Users will surely be disappointed with lower storage capacity because it would mean less room for photos, videos and music.
