Bioware has just released the latest Dragon Age Inquisition Patch 8 that introduces fans to a host of new updates on its massively popular fantasy game franchise.
The newest Dragon Age Inquisition Patch 8 highlights include the addition of new multiplayer features, enhancements on multiplayer stability and Save Importer feature that allows players to transfer single-player save games and multiplayer data to new consoles.
Additionally, a bigger multiplayer challenge called Nightmare difficulty, is added per players' request. Bioware has also brought in several rare high-level weapons where some are from the Avvar clans. The full patch 8 notes are detailed below:
- [Multiplayer] Introduced new and rare high-level weapons, including some from the Avvar clans.
- [Multiplayer] Introduced one new T4 accessory.
- [Multiplayer] Introduced Proving Grounds, a new tutorial level accessible from the class-selection screen.
- [Multiplayer] Introduced Nightmare difficulty, a step up from Perilous.
- [Multiplayer] Fixed an issue that caused the Multiplayer menu to be reloaded after a quick match failure.
- [Multiplayer] Fixed an issue when using Reset Ability Points with a full inventory.
- [Multiplayer] Fixed an issue which could prevent Multiplayer maps from streaming in during high latency matches.
- [Multiplayer] Fixed the text for the Challenge "Relentless Pursuit" to list the correct Multiplayer character.
- [PS4] Fixed a crash when playing while installing relating to the Flames of the Inquisition items.
- [PS4] Fixed an issue that prevented joining a Multiplayer game via PS4 Friends List
Players can also make use of the Proving Grounds, a tutorial level featured in the new update which enables players to test class, abilities, and load-out before they take on a multiplayer battle.
This level which can be accessed from the class-selection screen provides fans to play their own multiplayer character with a team of Artificial Intelligence bots for the first time, although, seasoned gamers can also use Proving Grounds to try out some specific mechanics. .

"The Proving Grounds begin with a guided experience to help you familiarize yourself with multiplayer. A team of AI-controlled agents will accompany you on your mission-at a reduced difficulty level to introduce gameplay mechanics without leaving you feeling overwhelmed."
Lastly, the Dragon Age Inquisition Patch 8 also contains a fourth tier of accessories and bug fixes to tweak several known issues so as to improve multiplayer experience for the game's loyal fans.
