Earlier this week, Dragon Age: Inquisition launched the Untold Relics of Thedas Contest, where players were recruited to design their own gear with a unique backstory and ability to impact gameplay. The contest runs from July 15 to July 20 at 11:59PM PST, and should be wrapping up today.
The BioWare official blog post states that entries for the contest will be judged based on "creativity, originality, appropriateness to the topic, and how they impact gameplay". Suffice to say, the winners will be judged based on how outrageously creative and unique their entries are, and how it can have a major effect on the Dragon Age: Inquisition gameplay. BioWare will commence deliberation by a panel of judges from today until July 29. Three winners will be selected, and the winning entries will recive a Dragon Age: Inquisition Prize Pack. The winning accessories will have the opportunity to be included in the next content update for Dragon Age: Inquisition.
BioWare and EA have also made Dragon Age: Inquisition available to PC systems for a free 6-hour campaign trial with unlimited access to the multiplayer mode. This is perhaps a move to make up for the limited release of future DLCs for the game. Future Dragon Age: Inquisition DLCs will only be made available to PS4, Xbox One, and PC systems.
BioWare has refined their overall multiplayer stability, according to BioWare's official Dragon Age: Inquisition Patch 8 Notes. In addition to multiplayer improvements, a new feature has been introduced. The new Save Importer feature will allow saved game data to be imported to eighth gen consoles. Added features for Patch also include the multiplayer Nightmare difficulty, new high level weapons, and a new tutorial level called Proving Grounds. Proving grounds is a level that allow players to try out their accessories and equipment prior to playing multiplayer mode.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is developed by BioWare and published by EA for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One systems.
