Dragon Age: Inquisition is looking to players for their incredible abilities to design their own gear for the Untold Relics of Thedas contest. The design should be submitted by July 20 to qualify, and the top picks will receive Dragon Age: Inquisition prize packs, as well as the opportunity to have their design included for the game's future updates. EA and BioWare have also decided to give players up to six hours free trial play for PC systems starting this week.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is recruiting dedicated and passionate players to design their own accessory. According to IGN, players can design their accesory based on an ability list posted on the official BioWare blogsite. Players are given free reign to design an accessory with an intersting backstory. Three designers will then be selected and receive a Dragon Age: Inquisition prize pack and may be included as new content in the game's next update. Entries are welcome to submit via email to Relics@BioWare.com and should contain player's name, birth date, email address, and their idea for the accessory. Contest is open until Monday, July 20 at 11:59PST. Submissions are judged according to "creativity, originality, appropriateness to the topic, and how they impact gameplay."
Meanwhile, EA and BioWare have opened the doors of Dragon Age: Inquisition for PC systems. Dragon Age: Inquisition is now available to play for free via Origin for PC systems. The trial version includes an unlimited multiplayer mode that allow players access to multiplayer expansion packs. Multiplayer mode will also grant access to weekend multiplayer events for bonus in-game rewards. The trial version will also allow for up to six hours of free trial on the single-player campaign. In-game progress will be carried over once game has been purchased.
There is a slight drawback to all the good news that BioWare and EA have been dishing out though. Future Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC will have a limited release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC systems only. IGN UK confirms that BioWare will be releasing a new save transfer tool for the game's upcoming patch update. Cross console transfers are unfortunately not supported, but purchased games will get previously released DLC Jaws of Hakkon or Spoils of the Avvar for free on eight-gen consoles.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is developed by BioWare and published by EA for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One systems.
