As reported by Kotaku, the trailer is basically an awesome one for the most part, with fans going incredibly nuts.
For a short story, the trailer of Rise of the Tomb Raider takes place in what was apparently, Syria or somewhere in between. Being followed as well by a corporation known as Trinity, Lara hunts for an ancient artifact in oppose to the company's nefarious plans as the said antiquity was speculated to be a key to immortality. Overall, the game's graphics have been more than up to par and impressive as most players claimed.
According to Rock, Paper, Shotgun, Crystal Dynamics aims to make the gamers feel more comfortable with the game by bringing back the traditional exploration theme. With the game stages being insanely massive, Rise of the Tomb Raider certainly has almost unending terrains to back up the already magnificent graphics that the game offers.
