Time to celebrate! A new Director's Cut of "Wasteland 2," will be released worldwide this October. inXile Entertainment's post-apocalyptic role-playing video game will be launched for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
Nothing can stop "Wasteland 2" from hitting several consoles this year. IGN confirmed previously that a director's cut will be ready for launch by summer's end. As stated in their report, the enhanced version will be available for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles on October 13 in North America. Shortly after, an international release will occur on October 15. The website also added that the Director's Cut will include "overhauled graphics, expanded voice-overs, gameplay enhancements & tweaks," as well as a "redone character and level art."
On other game details, Gematsu enumerated a few key features that fans are sure to enjoy. Some of these are the Director's Cut, Turn-Based Tactical Combat and Your Squad Your Way. Gamers can also expect a huge reactive story, a massive and customizable content and an enhanced classic RPG gameplay.
Meanwhile, inXile Entertainment, "Wasteland" developer, assured fans quality performance for the impending release. In fact, inXile added that they are already in the final tweaks for the release, the PC Gamer reported. "We're now in the home stretch of development," the company wrote in a statement. "Our final tasks in the several weeks before final release include polishing up the game as much as we can, including tweaks, optimizations, fixes and balance adjustments. We hope you will enjoy the changes and updates as much as we enjoyed bringing them to you."
Having that said, all gamers in the world are now left with one simple thing left - to wait.
Fans around the globe can get their hands on "Wasteland 2: Director's Cut" starting October 15 for the PS4 and Xbox One. North America will have an earlier release scheduled on October 13.
