After Bethesda gave gamers a glimpse of Fallout 4 at the E3 2015 and at the recently held Gamescom 2015, they have announced that they will no longer reveal anything more about Fallout 4's plot in the days to come.
Bethesda's Vice President of PR and Marketing, Pete Hines states, "I would be stunned if we said anything else about the story ever again. We're going to let everybody experience that in the game as much as possible," quotes VG 24/7. He also adds that as for the game's launch this year, Todd Howard would have "probably prefer like a week or even a day between announce and launch." But Fallout 4's release date was announced instead months before its launch.
Hines also adds that they felt like the six-month allowance between announcing and releasing the game will work out fine since this is already expected. They also think that since Fallout 4 is a follow-up to Fallout 3, they do not need to create too much of a buzz to delay the game, as Bethesda already has a stellar reputation in game development, as told by Gaming Bolt.
Fans of the Fallout series may now heave out a sigh of relief knowing that the team of developers in Bethesda are focused on Fallout 4 instead of working on various additional DLCs. Hines says, "I can tell you with all confidence that right now the team is one hundred percent focused on the game itself." He further adds that the idea behind the additional downloadable content is good but their development team has to deliver a great game by November 10 and that's their priority at the moment.
So far, gamers are aware that aside from the return of Dogmeat in Fallout 4, the main character is going to be voiced and they can choose whether to play as a male or a female character. There is also the crafting system that will allow players to get busy and create their own weapons and modify their armors as noted in T3. Fans of the game franchise will surely be happier not knowing the finer details of the game as this can spoil the excitement that Fallout 4's release will bring.
This post-apocalyptic RPG will be released come November 10 of this year on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC.
