The latest leaked photos of the BlackBerry's first Android-powered smartphone dubbed as Blackberry Venice are reportedly circulating online. The leaked images said to confirm the handset of featuring a unique sliding QWERTY keyboard.

According to Christian Today, a set of the newest leaked photos seen on CrackBerry.com reveals additional particulars of the product. A location of the SIM card and microSD slots that are both positioned on the upper part of the device are reported as one of its most obvious and unique features shown by the leak. Another leaked image of the BlackBerry Venice was reportedly spied on a Vietnamese website Tinhte that shows a slide-out QWERTY keyboard as well as the distinct BlackBerry logo on the forthcoming device. The leak also reveals a textured back battery cover and casing that makes it easier to hold the smartphone.

A separate report from Yibada states that the purported leaked photo shows that the Blackberry Venice allegedly runs on a little altered version of Android Lollipop. The company will still confirm if what operating system will be featured on this smartphone. Whereas, several experts agree that it ought to pass along at least Android Lollipop while some also speculate that it could work on the recently announced Android Marshmallow.

The Canadian smartphone manufacturer BlackBerry was preparing its first ever handset that will operate on Google's Android mobile operating system, that is BlackBerry Venice, a forthcoming Android phone with a sliding physical QWERTY keyboard feature, reports Design and Trend.

Moreover, it is said that the BlackBerry Venice purported sliding mechanism could be simply pulled down if users decide to use the QWERTY keyboard. The website also stated that one of its leaked images said to present a display of an unidentified size with a resolution of 1440x 2560 pixels. The Qualcomm's Snapdragon 808 processor, including a hexa core CPU clocked at 1.8 GHz along with 3GB of RAM will reportedly give power to the latest handset.
