Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow is back on board in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales," and along with him will be Orlando Bloom's Will Turner. However, the two might not be as enthusiastic as their fans in their reunion in the big screen. Deleted scenes were also released revealing what could be Jack Sparrow's origin.
It was confirmed in the latest D23 Expo that Bloom will be seen back in the big screen as Will Turner. According to Master Herald, Bloom reportedly revealed that he will now be taking over the role of Davy Jones, and will no longer look anything like the Will Turner in the previous films.
The film will undergo a 20 year time jump which will also feature Will Turner's son, Henry, played by Brenton Thwaites. In the upcoming movie, Henry will be looking for his father, and seeks reconnection with him. Henry will look for Will just like how Will looked for his father, Davy Jones in the first three films in the franchise.
The return of Orlando Bloom in the franchise will bring a new take to the story. While a lot of fans of the franchise are excited, Depp and Bloom are not too enthusiastic according to a Classicalite report. The two actors does not get along well with each other. Johnny Depp was reportedly angry with Bloom's return.
Meanwhile, before Jack Sparrow returns to the big screen, deleted scenes from At Worlds End was reportedly released. Movie Pilot reported that it exposes the softer side of Jack Sparrow. He was revealed as a renegade merchant rather than being a thief. Jack Sparrow was shown being employed by the East India Trading Company to deliver a cargo of slaves.
However, instead of following orders, Jack released the slaves, and because of that Cutler Beckett burned his ship, the Wicked Wench. Since the ship was one of the few things that made Jack happy, he later asked Davy Jones to bring back his ship. The ship was returned, almost the same as before, but it had a permanent charred hull, which resulted to it being renamed as the Black Pearl.
The upcoming "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg. Aside from Bloom, Depp, and Thwaites, the roster also includes Kaya Scondelario, Geoffrey Rush, Javier Bardem, and Stephen Graham. It is set to hit theaters in July 07, 2017.
