Sony will be launching one more handset dubbed as Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Premium that will link up to the recently introduced Sony Xperia Z5, Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium.
At IFA in Berlin, the new Sony Xperia Z5 series was announced by the Tech giant last week. Aside from this, the Japanese company could have one more surprise up its binding for its home market. Sony looks to be designing an exceptional edition Xperia Z5 Compact Premium for enthusiasts in Japan, Techno Buffalo reports.
It is also said that the flagship's name as the Xperia Z5 Compact Premium is anticipated to arrive as a more exciting version compared to the Xperia Z5 Compact. The Xperia Z5 Compact Premium leaked promotional image also proposes that it will be exclusive to Japanese carrier DoCoMo with Hatsune Miku branding. It is reported that Sony has already released some other special edition product with Hatsune Miku branding before.
Moreover, the Phone Arena reports that the Xperia Z5 Compact Premium will convey some improvements to the battery, screen resolution, and the amount of RAM in the phone.
According to Android authority, the rumored Xperia Z5 Compact Premium will put up a similar Snapdragon 810 processor and complete looks over the Compact. Nevertheless, it trades in the 720p display for a 4.6-inch 1080p display and 2GB RAM for 4GB. The battery is also elevated to 2900 mAh. Therefore, it indicates that the Xperia Z5 Compact could reportedly feature an even more RAM than the Xperia Z5 Premium, which looks like an unusual choice.
As for its release schedule details, Sony has not yet given any information on when the Xperia Z5 Compact Premium will be available, or whether it will occur in the markets later on, similar to what has the Xperia Z4 did after it was renamed Xperia Z3+.
