Hardcore fans of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have two special events to excited about this September. Season 12 is happening next week and a new double battle competition called 'Primal Battle' will be held on September 25 to 27 where gamers will receive a reward of 1,000 PokeMiles upon joining.
As revealed by trusted Pokemon source, Serebii, Season 12 will not just available to the fans of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire but it also includes Pokemon X and Y players. Season 12 will run from 15 September to 17 November and the specific rules have already been announced.
Players must remember that standard league rules are applied to two games. Also, Gen 6 is native only in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire and gamers can transfer it to Pokemon X and Y. All players
will compete with one another in ranking even with the separate battles.
The following are the basic rules for Season 12:
Battle type: Single Battle
Pokemon Restrictions: National Pokedex except Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Diancie and Hoopa
Other rules include the ability of gamers to choose three Pokemon out of the six are provided as options and there cannot be two Pokemon that hold the same hold item.
Meanwhile, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be holding a new double battle competition called 'Primal Battle', a three-day event that will begin on September 25 and end on the 27th.
International Business Times noted that registration for the Primal Battle will start on September 17 to 24. Players who will be participating in the competition will get 1,000 PokeMiles as a reward. Primal Battle will let National Pokedex Pokemon but excluding a number of Legendaries and special Pokemon.
These are: Arceus, Celebi, Darkrai, Deoxys, Dialga, Diancie, Genesect, Giratina, Ho-Oh, Jirachi, Keldeo, Kyurem, Lugia, Manaphy, Meloetta, Mew, Mewtwo, Palkia, Phione, Rayquaza, Reshiram, Shaymin, Victini, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zekrom and Zygarde. However, players can use Groudon and Kyogre.
Lastly, the Pokemon Company has also conducted a survey to players for the new online competition this November. Players can visit Pokemon Global Link website for the latest poll and the page also tackles several new options that could be used in the said competition.
