Jason Momoa fleshes out his character 'Aquaman' in a fan expo in Canada. Momoa's 'Aquaman' will not be a friend that loves to joke but he will also not be a foe that will ravage cities.
According to Wired, Momoa has painted what his 'Aquaman' or Arthur Curry would roughly be like in the DC films. In a appearance at the Fan Expo Canada, the 36-year-old actor doesn't think he will be a friendly superhero. He won't be an 'Aquaman' who will be "busting out a bunch of jokes."
He may be serious but don't expect the hero to be overly grim too. In what may be a comparison to his character Khal Drogo, Momoa stated that the King of the Seven seas won't be "raping and pillaging any villages."
While 'Aquaman' will not be the most playful, he would certainly be badass. According to Vine Report, jokes about previous versions of 'Aquaman', his origins and powers, will no longer be funny. As strongly implied by Momoa, his character will be no laughing matter. Asking fans to wait on the DC superhero's appearance, Momoa also teased that they should make jokes afterward.
According to Movie Pilot, Aquaman's movie may not be entitled as such, but could be taking after 'Man of Stee'l (Superman) and the 'Dark Knight' (Batman). The King of Atlantis, The King of the Seven Seas or his other aliases could be used. The movie has also no shortage of villains but which ones to fight in 'Aquaman' will depend on which comic book plot they will base it on.
Jason Momoa's 'Aquaman' might be seen earliest in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', where he is rumored to make a cameo. The King of Atlantis is confirmed to play major part in the upcoming 'Justice League' movie. Knowing that 'Aquaman' will not be a savage monster foe is good and fans are anticipating what kind of personality exactly he will have in the DC cinematic universe.
