After dating for a year, singer Christina Milian and rapper Lil Wayne ended their relationship last month. But despite the split, both Christina and Lil Wayne have decided to remain friends and even released a new song together after their break up.
According to the NY Daily News, Christina Milian and Lil Wayne ended their year-long relationship in the latter part of August. A representative of Milian broke the news to the outlet and said that the singer has no comment at this time. A request for comments on the issue from a rep of the 32-year-old rapper was issued; however, there was no response.
Ever since the beginning of their romance, the two celebrities have both kept their relationship low key, giving only little information to the public. Now that the two are officially over, it looks like they are sticking to their normal ways, still keeping things low profile.
In a report from Times Live, according to sources, the former couple called it quits due to their individual hectic schedules. Both Lil Wayne and Christina are busy people with various ongoing projects, apparently giving the two lovebirds a hard time fitting each other into their busy lives. Hence, they broke up.
Despite this, the two still remained friends. In fact, Hollywood Life reported that Lil Wayne and Christina recently released a new song together entitled "Do It." The song was actually made before the split happened. But with the two singers both being professional with their jobs, nothing could hold them backfrom releasing it -not even the break up.
According to sources, despite the break up, the 33-year-old singer and reality star, and 32-year-old Lil Wayne have decided to stay friends. The two are apparently on good terms, and continue to work together in the music industry and other projects.
Though the split of Christina Milian and Lil Wayne is official, fans of the couple won't have to worry about not seeing their favourite singers together. With the two celebrities still on good terms, fans can expect future projects from the two stars as they both seem to put their personal lives aside when it comes down to business.
