Peopl are already excited for the upcoming "Suicide Squad" movie, especially after Jared Leto revealed how insane his Joker would be. Moreover, the actor claimed that he'll be locked away with how he'll perform the iconic villain.
According to Caped Crusades, Jared Leto seems to be pretty much pleased with his performance as The Joker in the upcoming "Suicide Squad" movie that he can't help but expressed, "I can't wait for you to see this. They're going to lock me away in a box after this movie comes out."
The actor was with his band 30 Seconds to Mars at a concert in Dubai and addressed the crowd regarding his on-screen performance, as reported by Heroic Hollywood. The actor also reportedly thinks that his performance is pretty insane.
Although it might seem to be some sort of way to help promote the said film, Leto is the kind of actor that wouldn't bother commenting if he's not happy with his performance. But, of course, fans can only hope for now that his acting is indeed something that is both impressive and crazy.
On the other hand, Uproxx said that despite the Oscar-winner actor tooting his own acting horn about how hard he's acting in the new movie, people should not forget how far Leto went down on the method of portraying "The Joker." He had even sent his co-starts gifts that featured live rats and bullets, and even succeeded at scaring the crap out of co-star Margot Robbie while on set.
There are also rumors about Leto's Joker comparing to that of Hannibal Lecter, although most people don't believe that he will be straight up eating people. Nonetheless, there is every possibility that Jared Leto will bring a new level of mind sorcery to the Joker that people haven't seen in a while since Heath Ledger's take.
Well, if Jared Leto's Joker is interestingly insane enough compared to the others who portrayed it, then "Suicide Squad" movie is something that fans should not dare to miss. Besides, only then can they tell if the actor is worthy of locking away after seeing his villain performance. The film hits theaters on August 5, 2016.
