The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have sold more than 13 million units on its first three days sale, breaking Apple's sales record.
A press release made by Apple yesterday, September 28 confirmed that it has sold more than 13 million new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus models, just three days after the launch of these two amazing smartphones.
The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be available in more than 40 additional countries beginning October 9 including Italy, Mexico, Russia, Spain and Taiwan. As the year ends, the new iPhones will be available in over 130 countries.
Tim Cook, Apple's CEO stated, "Sales for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have been phenomenal, blowing past any previous first weekend sales results in Apple's history". He also added that "Customers' feedback is incredible and they are loving 3D Touch and Live Photos, and we can't wait to bring iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus to customers in even more countries on October 9."
Sky News further proved the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus had break the record of the previous iPhones as Apple sold only 10 million of the forerunner models as it went on sale last year. And after three months, Apple has sold more that 70 million units iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
The Sci-Tech Today cited the features of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus that leap it sales so high. The 3D Touch is perhaps the biggest new addition to the Apple's newest flagships. This technology senses how deeply the user presses the display.
The new iPhones also feature Live Photos, which bring still images to life. Another enhancement was the 12-megapixel iSight camera and 5-megapixel FaceTime HD camera with Retina Flash. Both smartphones were engineered with Apple-designed A9 chip and lastly, the 6s and 6Plus were made out of the strongest possible glass and 7000 series aluminum
These features are believed to have become a great help with the increase of the Apple's iPhone 6s and 6s Plus record breaking sales.
