With millions of people who signed up for the free three-month trial of Apple Music, the end of the subscription is finally winding down. On September 30, the free music listening trial will already expire.
Those who registered for the free trial subscription of Apple Music last June 30 barely have a day to decide if they continue their subscription or not. After the free trial, the subscription will cost $9.99 per month. The question lies whether to continue or cancel the subscription.
If one decides to discontinue the subscription, simply open the Music application and go to profile page. Head to View Apple ID, then choose Manage Subscriptions. After that click Your Membership and then turn the automatic renewal toggle off.
There is no other music-streaming application that can compete with Apple on its home turf when it comes to service integration. By using Siri, user's personal assistant, the Apple Music application will be much easier to use. Additionally, the playlists in the Apple Music are human-curated, which means they are created by real people, rather than algorithms detecting songs.
However, one of the major complaints of the users to Apple's new streaming music service is that the user interface is hard to navigate and confusing. It seems like it is not that user-friendly. The radio service hardly gets front billing in the application, when in fact it is promoted as a standout feature of Apple Music. Those non-techy users are often at a loss about where the radio service and Apple Music start and own music collection ends, as well as what to input for personalization and where to locate it.
On the whole, Apple Music is not quite game-changing and might still need some improvements. It could be a hit if it will be more user-friendly. Nonetheless, users still have one more day left to decide if they are going to give it a go or no.
