Miley Cyrus SNL: ‘Wrecking Ball’ Singer Shocks Fans As She Shed Tears During Saturday Night Live’s Season Premiere

Miley Cyrus' SNL appearance last Saturday at the season 41 premiere shocked fans when she let loose of herself and showed her vulnerable side. The former "Hannah Montana" star performed two of her tracks and appeared in a few skits, with one that suggests what it looks like to marry her. The peak of the show came out when she performed her second single, "The Twinkle Sing" dedicated for her dead pets.

The "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker let her tears flow as she shouted on top of her voice to sing the chorus, "But what does it mean?" The 22-year-old became emotional as she started singing the final verse. She held back the tears until she could no longer fight back on the line that says, "But I wasn't scared 'cause you were there," Daily Mail reports. In Miley's SNL performance, she sang while playing the piano with a photo of her deceased dog, Floyd on the picture frame.

"Dear Floyd, thank you for sharing this magical moment with mommy," Cyrus wrote on Instagram. "I misssssssss yiewwwwww #mileyonsnl #thetwinklesong #wemissutwinkle #wemissufloyd #wemissupablow."

In Miley's first SNL skit, she wore an outfit covered with colorful fake flowers. She sang the infamous Frank Sinatra's song, "My Way" while the cast showed up dressed like the people who hit the headlines in the recent months including Leny Kravitz, "The Twerp Who Raised the Price of AIDS Medication," "The Dentist Who Killed Cecil the Lion," Kim Davis and Rachel Dolezal, E! News reports.

In Miley's second SNL sketch, the "We Can't Stop" hitmaker appeared like a highschool girl, who is brave to show her style. She even licked the face of new SNL star Jon Rudnitsky's face. In another kit, she was seen mocking young adults. She began her skit with a joke when she monologue that the live show was good because her parents know where she was for the last 90 minutes.
