Avalanche Studios has recently unveiled their masterpiece with the new Just Cause 3 and fans have been clamoring to get a comprehensive look. Just Cause 3 will have one of the biggest maps in gaming today, according to Avalanche Studios, measuring about 400 square miles in total. The game is scheduled for a December release this year under Square Enix.
Just Cause 3 is one of the biggest games scheduled to come out this year. Developer Avalanche Studios had just recently released their third development video diary detailing the expanse of the game's map. It certainly poses a great experience for the fans of the game. According to Avalanche Studios, players can explore the game to its full extent, that as long as they can see it from up high, they can explore it vertically.
Avalanche Studios gives free reign to players in making the game as exciting as it is destructive. Just Cause 3 improves on Rico Rodriguez's abilities like the new wingsuit's flight abilities, a new and improved grappling hook attached to his arm, and a weapons harness on his back that increases the amount of weapons he can carry. The game also gives emphasis on the improvements of the vehicles that can be used to traverse the expanse of the map and at the same time can become a weapon in itself. IGN has also released a video where they give focus to the exceptionally made map of the game. The game is visually stunning and explosive in that it gives freedom to players in the destructability of everything within the game.
GameReactor interviewed Just Cause 3 game director Roland Lesterlin ahead of the launch at this year's GamesCom. Lesterlin is as excited as the fans for the game to come out on December 1, admitting that he wants gamers to "break the game", even going as far as giving hints on how to get outside of the challenges posed in the game. The story itself is enmeshed in Rico's childhood home and the town where he lost his parents in direct opposition to the Agency's well-wishes and benefit from the main antagonist of Just Cause 3 in the form of the Dictator and his explosive mineral.
Just Cause 3 is scheduled to launch on December 1 this year for PC, Xbox One and PS4 systems.
