Samsung Galaxy S7 details have been surfacing around the Internet these past few months. The much-awaited smartphone from the South Korean tech giant is reportedly to be launched in December as oppose to the previous reports that it will arrive early next year.
According to Digital Spy, Samsung is planning to ramp up its smartphone cycles, which means that its upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 could be officially released in December this year. The rush is more likely to keep at bay the competition from the recently launched iPhone 6s of Apple.
Samsung Galaxy S7 is the most highly anticipated offering from the company. The release of Samsung Galaxy S6 and its spin-off, the Galaxy S6 Edge, gave Samsung slow sales. Thus, this could be the reason why the company is forced to accelerate its smartphone cycles.
The Galaxy S7 is expected to feature a sturdier and thinner body with magnesium unibody design, as previously reported by VCPost. It is believed to have enhanced camera optics, dual-camera approach, software improvements, as well as new and faster processor from Qualcomm.
Furthermore, the device is alleged to eliminate a traditional micro USB port in favor of USB Type-C connection. The USB Type-C is expected to become the new industry standard, which promises speedier transfer times, delightfully reversible cable attachments, and faster charging.
