Nexus 6P Battled Against iPhone 6s Plus: Specs Detailed; Which Earns The Top Spot?

The newest flagship made by Google has been released and is ready to compete with Apple's iPhone 6s Plus. The competition between these two handsets is believed to be quite tough and worth knowing which one deserves the top spot.

PC Magazine said on its article that the Nexus 6P seems to be the flagship of the year for Android enthusiasts. The biggest search engine company hopes the phone manufacturers and consumers will keep the Nexus 6P in mind as they craft premium devices running Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

In addition, Google also admitted that Nexus 6P will have a tough competition with the iPhone 6s Plus, a device that has been repeatedly referenced during its Tuesday press event.

Tech Advisor gave a keen comparison between the two devices. Accroding to the site, the Nexus 6P is the first device to get the Android 6.0 and is also the first all-metal Nexus. The 6P is somewhat identical to the 6s Plus in size but it has a higher resolution and it's lighter by 14g.

Both of these devices has fingerprint scanner technology, but Nexus' scanner was placed at the back of the phone. On the other hand, iPhone 6S Plus has its scanner located at the home button. Its improved Touch ID is so fast at recognizing user's fingerprint as the quick press also unlocks the phone.

The latest iPhone offers a new way to interact with iOS thru 3D Touch. This is the capability to do different things depending on how hard you push makes it surprisingly fast to send a message to a favorite contact, or jump straight to selfie mode in the camera app.

The 6s Plus has a great screen too, having 100 percent sRGB coverage, high brightness, high contrast and wide viewing angles that provides an awesome experience in viewing photos, watching videos and playing games. The 6P on the pther hand, has a fairly wow factor associated with combining the 2560x1440 resolution with Super AMOLED technology. Colors is claimed to pop and the extra details of every picture is also clear.

Photo-wise, they both have 12Mp cameras. The 6P has an IR laser autofocus system which can shoot slo-mo video at 240fps. It also has a burst mode which takes photos at 30fps. Meanwhile, the iPhone 6s Plus has a 4K video technology support having 30fps. For the front camera, the 6P has an 8 megapixel front camera while 6s Plus has 5 megapixel with a front 'flash' which can briefly flash up to three times brighter than normal exposure.

CNET added that the price range of Nexus 6P in U.S starts at $499 while the iPhone 6s Plus starts at $650.

These are the amazing specs Google and Apple's newest flagship carries. The Nexus 6P and iPhone 6s Plus might have a tight competition in the market, but it is still for the users to decide which one is better than the other.
