It was seen in the previous episode of "Castle" Season 8 that Kate Beckett and Rick Castle had to take a break as a couple for the time being after the emotional and jaw-dropping first two episodes premiere of the show. In a recent interview, Nathan Fillion talked about the decision of the creators of the show amid spoilers for episode 4 being released.
In a report by Design & Trend, Fillion, the actor who play Rick Castle, talked about the controversial break-up of "Caskett." The temporary break-up of Castle and Beckett was made intentionally by the creators in order for the fans to go back in time when the two fell for each other. Fillion further explained, "People had a desire, a wont, for them to fight for something. I think the showrunners did a really good job."
He continued that the showrunners wanted to take the audience back to the time where the show was more funny than dramatic. In a teaser trailer for the next episode, Yibada reported that Rick was heard saying, "There's no greater betrayal than a lie in a marriage."
Meanwhile, more spoilers for episode 4 of "Castle" Season 8 entitled "What Lies Beneath" was released. According to Ecumenical News, the fourth episode will be about Castle and Beckett investigating the death of Castle's favorite author.
