Google’s Accidental Listing on Chromecast Support Page confirmed Motorola Droid Maxx 2 Existence, Release Date?

Rumor has it that the Motorola Droid Maxx 2 will be available any time soon. Google has accidentally confirmed the existence of Droid Maxx 2 for Verizon Wireless as it included it on the listing posted on the Chromecast support page.

Motorola Droid Maxx 2 has not been officially announced yet, but due to the information revealed online, it sparks more speculations as to when it will finally be released. The information posted has already been edited and the mention on Droid Maxx 2 has been removed as well. However, some websites were able to get a screenshot of it and went viral.

According to the latest reports, Droid Maxx 2 is expected to sport a 5.5-inch panel with 1920 by 1080 pixels resolution, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 614 processor with 1.7Ghz, 32GB of internal storage with a room of 128GB micro SD card, and 2GB of RAM. The forthcoming smartphone is also rumored to feature a 21-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter.

Furthermore, the most remarkable feature of Motorola Droid Maxx 2 is its enormous 3630mAh battery, which is the same with the Moto X Play. It is said to come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box.

As reported by Geek Snack, Motorola Droid Maxx 2 mid-ranger will be launched alongside Droid Turbo 2 at the end of this month. There will be Verizon-exclusive units to be released as well as international models.
