While the new details of Spidey's costume hits the internet, rumors and speculations on the details of the "Spider-Man" reboot movie are buzzing up. Moreover, Jon Watts talked about the upcoming film.
According to an article on Yibada, Miles Morales as Mary Jane Watson will possibly appear in the movie. When the movie director was asked if Miles will really join the cast, he did not answer the question directly as it might reveal "too much" of the story and he did not deny the rumor. This may imply that the actress will join the cast.
During an interview with Den of Geek, Watts confirmed that the "Spider-Man" reboot movie will be a flashback story of Peter Parker's adventure with John Hughes' kind of vibe. He also admitted that his movie is inspired by the Ultimate Spider-Man.
"I really like what [Brian Michael] Bendis did. A lot," he said. "That felt like... that was Peter Parker back in high school. And, spending as much time with his high school problems as it did with his superhero problems, which I think is really a lot of fun."
But before the fans witness the debut of Tom Holland's Spider-Man, he will appear in the opening of Super Hero HQ in the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. He will serve as a greeter featuring Thor and Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries. This will center on two Marvel Studios' gist Avengers.
Aside from the "Ultimate Spider-Man" comic book, he also talked about the "Archies" and the "Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane" comic book series. As a preparation for his upcoming project, he said he reads a lot of comic books all day.
In other news, the emblem on Spider-Man's costume was reportedly different from the previous Spidey's symbol. Sources say Mary Jane Watson will be Peter Parker's romantic partner in the "Spider-Man" reboot movie and not Gwen Stacy.
