Top Gear's trio of presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond will return to television possibly this summer or by the end of the year for the airing of the last 3 episodes of the abruptly-ended Season 22.
The re-edited episodes will use unseen footage filmed before Clarkson was suspended from the show following an incident with show producer Oisin Tymon.
Meanwhile Clarkson's co-presenters James May and Richard Hammond have been seen at the BBC headquarters following an admission of BBC2 controller Kim Shillingshaw that they are in talks about various BBC projects.
