'Limitless' Cast Update: Bradley Cooper Will Return on CBS Freshman Drama

By

It’s official, Bradley Cooper will return this season on CBS’ "Limitless". The actor, who also serves as the executive producer on the series, is slated to reappear on the upcoming Oct. 27th installment titled “Side Effects May Include”.

According to executive producer Craig Sweeney, "The Guardians of the Galaxy" star is likely to be seen more in the coming weeks of "Limitless".

“Bradley really has been so committed to the show and he has every intention of coming back, the showrunner shared in a report from Variety. "We’ve been talking quite a bit about how to bring him back and in what capacity,” he added.

Cooper’s character Edward Morra originated in the hit 2011 movie, according to The Wrap. It developed a strong impact with moviegoers as they followed his story as a struggling writer who after taking NZT, was able to unlock his brain’s maximum potential.

However, it remains to be seen as to whether his character’s motives on the TV version are villainous. On this note, series star Jake McDorman offered his thoughts about Morra in a report from Entertainment Weekly.

“I think from Brian’s perspective, there are some sinister elements to Eddie. I think Eddie Mora has a plan. You saw the inception of it in the movie. He accumulated a lot of money on Wall Street, and by the end of the movie he moved into politics and was just starting to run for senator. This is four years later. We don’t know how much that plan has germinated or what it has germinated into. From the small sliver we’re seeing from Brian’s perspective, [Eddie is] definitely very powerful and very scary,” the actor commented.

CBS has announced that Bradley Cooper will reprise his role as Sen. Edward Morra on the upcoming sixth episode of "Limitless". It is slated to air on Tuesday, Oct. 27th.
