Winter is finally coming in 'Game of Thrones' Season 6, scenes at The Wall to be filmed soon

"Game of Thrones" wrapped up filming in Spain for Season 6 last week where most settings in Westeros were shot. The cast and crew now head to Northern Ireland where scenes at 'The Wall' will be filmed.

In a report by fan site WatchersOnTheWall via IBTimes, the "Game of Thrones" crew returned to Magheramorne Quarry in Northern Ireland. Leaked pictures reveal the work in progress at the set. Some pieces in the set may even be leftovers from the 'Hardhome' episode in the previous season which featured a huge battle sequence between the Wildlings and the White Walkers. In another location in Corbet, Northern Ireland, scenes of the siege at Riverrun continue filming.

According to a report by WinterIsComing, there has been no sign of the men of the Night's Watch since the filming of Jon Snow's funeral scene. It was also the last time the crew was on location at Magheramorne Quarry. It is also speculated in the report that viewers might see the fall of The Wall in Season 6 since there are only a few of the Black Brothers remaining. With their Lord Commander, Jon Snow's supposed death, and their aversion towards fighting the dead with the help of the free folk, the White Walkers might finally be on the move towards Westeros. And the only supposedly strong force keeping them from invading the Seven Kingdoms is The Wall.

Meanwhile, in a report by Inquisitr, it is said that Jon Snow may be set to fight the White Walkers in Season 6. Joining him might be Ser Davos Seaworth played by Liam Cunningham, who was reportedly seen at a wrap party following the filming of the major battle scene in the North. Even though this is not officially confirmed, it is very much likely for Ser Davos to be fighting alongside Jon Snow since he was one of the people who believed in him, even with Stannis gone. He was a good adviser to Stannis, though mostly his king favoured the Red Woman more, perhaps Jon Snow will be a better leader to heed more to his counsel.

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 is set to return this April 2016 on HBO.
