New "Sleepy Hollow" Season 3 episode 5 spoilers and synopsis were recently released by FOX which reveals a crossover from the TV series, "Bones." Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) will join Crane and Abbie in this week's episode entitled, 'Dead Men Tell No Tales.'
According to HollywoodHills, the "Bones" stars will cross over to work with Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) to help them stop an Undead British Army. The official synopsis for this season's "Sleepy Hollow" Episode 5, 'Dead Men Tell No Tales', is as follows:
With Brennan and Booth in town, Abbie and Crane set out to prove that supernatural forces are at play when a mysterious death plagues the FBI. As Pandora unleashes a force to awaken the dangerous Red Coat, General Howe, both teams must find a way to save the town from the British Army of the Undead. Can the power of Booth and Brennan combined with Abbie and Crane be enough to stop Pandora's evil forces?
Meanwhile, Clifton Campbell, "Sleepy Hollow" show runner shares in an interview via TechTimes: "At a certain point midway, when we pass off from their episode to our episode, the supernatural really kicks in and it's like looking at two sides of the same coin... You see what we were starting to sense in their hour get on its feet and come to life in our hour, and it requires a reunion of this brand-new coupling to take us to the conclusion that we need on our side, and it reveals a lot about both characters."
In addition, according to Variety Campbell promises that despite the "seeming incongruity" of both shows, where one is deeply rooted in reality and the other on the fantastical, the crossover underscores the many similarities of the duos when viewers see them team up on the case.
The "Sleepy Hollow" -"Bones" crossover debuts this Thursday, October 29, as part of a two-part Halloween Special at 8pm on FOX.
