'The Leftovers' Season 2 Episode 6 Preview, Synopsis: 'Lens'

By

The last episode of HBO's "The Leftovers", "No Room at the Inn," was undoubtedly phenomenal featuring Matt Jameson (Chrsitopher Eccleston) firing the hour. Next Sunday's episode, "Lens," will return to the world of Kevin Garvey (Justin Thereoux) as he handles the ghost that has been haunting him time and again.

Kevin Garvey was last seen on the verge of losing his mind, almost killing himself while sleepwalking. On the next episode, he finally decides to face his demons and tells Nora dissonantly (Carrie Coon), "Have you been noticing lately that I'm kind of losing my mind," as seen in the promo. This time, he might actually tell Nora about Patti (Ann Dowd), the ghost that has been haunting him, which is the cause of his mental health deteriorating.

Other things to expect in Episode 6 are revealed in this synopsis: Unexpected visitors get under Nora's (Carrie Coon) skin and she becomes preoccupied with a burning question about herself. Kevin's predicament becomes impossible to ignore. Erika (Regina King) finds an unlikely ally and reveals haunting secrets.

As for the Murphys, it is reported that they have been losing their minds as well ever since Evie (Jasmin Savoy Brown) disappeared. As told in the synopsis, Erika Murphy (Regina King) will find an unlikely ally. In the teaser, Nora is seen knocking on the Murphys' door and telling Erika, "There's nothing to be scared of."

The promo also shows a rock being thrown through the Murphys' window and Erika blaming Virgil (Steven Williams), the homeless man who has the tendency to proclaim prophetic messages to the people of Miracle. She tells him to stay away from her family. Meanwhile, Erika breaks out with an emotional speech to the people of Miracle about them being spared.

Stay tuned for "The Leftovers" Season 2 Episode 6, "Lens" on HBO, Sundays at 9pm.
